Vogel Law Firm is Hiring a Legal Assistant/Paralegal Near Davie, FL
We are a small boutique law firm specializing in the following areas: estate and trust planning, probate, real-estate title, corporate representation, and litigation related to all these areas. The work environment is professional yet casual other than when business attire is appropriate (court hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings).
This is an entry-level law firm position. You will be working for a sole practitioner and one or two part-time associates. Training will also be provided by the current legal assistant for a duration of time.
Initially, your duties will include answering phones, scheduling and calendaring for meetings, depositions, court hearings, and similar events. As you are working here and become comfortable with the small law firm setting, office software, communications with clients, and legal concepts, the more responsibilities we will give you. As you demonstrate aptitude, ability, and initiative, we will be more inclined to assign tasks such as correspondence to clients, intake with new clients, liaising with the court, and eventually legal research and writing.
Exceptional organizational skills, adaptability to new skills, and multitasking are highly valued at our firm.
